Tone Åse / Veslemøy Narvesen

As a performer and composer, Tone Åse has explored the concept of voice and electronics through a variety of constellations and releases, such as BOL / BOL & SNAH, Trondheim Voices, Voxpheria, Marilyn Mazur's Future Song, etc., as well as solo projects and theatre music.

Åse improvises with the material that arises on the outer edges and in the transformations when the role of the vocalist is expanded both acoustically and by electronic means, for example between song/sound, language/meaning, natural/artificial, lyrical/noise, human/machine. Åse is also associate professor at the Department of Music, NTNU.
