Johannes Vaage, Idar Eliassen Pedersen, Jens Kola and Stian Balducci have worked together within the confines of Punkt Klubb, Punkt Festival and similar outings since 2014.
Punkt Klubb is a monthly club concept based in Kristiansand involving performers on a variety of instruments and aims towards a different approach to the performance of electronic club music whilst keeping an ongoing conversation with extended jazz and improvised music.
Guitarist Johannes Vaage is based out of Bergen and Kristiansand, working with in variety of genres and musical constellations including the critically aclaimed pop/hip-hop act ''Sherpa''. He's been a vital part of Punkt Klubb since its conception and has contributed to the live remixes of both Bugge Wesseltoft's New Conception of Jazz and Atom TM at previous editions of Punkt.
Trumpeter Idar Eliassen Pedersen is quickly gaining broad experience as a musician. Besides being part of Punkt Klubb and contributing both with live remixes and original performances at
previous editions of Punkt he is active in a variety of different groups and bands including his own ''Ensemble Eliassen'' which was featured as part of The Norwegian Jazz Forum's tour: "The Future of Norwegian Jazz 2017".
Kristiansand and Hamar based Drummer Jens Kola has also been part of the Punkt Klubb roster since the beginning, in addition to contributing with live remixes of Bugge Wesseltoft (New Conception of Jazz), Atom TM and Jacaszek & Kwartludium. He is currently active with several projects including underground act ''Brevkongen'' and an upcoming studio recording with electro-trumpetist extraordinaire Hilde Marie Holsen and fellow punkt klubber Stian Balducci.
Electronic artist Stian Balducci operates across the boundaries of techno, improvisation and contemporary electronic music. Focusing on twisting and molding audio into new contexts, his sonic identity can be witnessed across projects. Releasing music since 2012 both within the confines of his techno-moniker +plattform and under his own name he is steadily gaining reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Having played Montreal Jazz Festival, Roskilde and Punkt Festival alongside the likes of Jan Bang, Nils Petter Molvær and Bugge Wesseltoft, the future looks bright. Besides keeping busy performing, Stian also curates Punkt Klubb and runs the young norwegian imprint Gråtone. Currently relevant with the album ''Twelve'' on Bergen based techno imprint ''Ploink''.
